ዘሕጉስ ዜና፣ ኤርትራ ተዓዊታ ኣብ ፭ መድረኽ ናይ ዙር ካመሩን። Meron Teshome and the German team Bike Aid continue their dominance on the International Cycling Tour of Cameroon. On Wednesday, Eritrea won the stage 5 of the event, its second victory in 3 days after having already won stage 3 on Monday.
Teshome dominated the 108km test in Douala in the sprint in 2 hours 44 minutes 01 seconds ahead of Morocco’s Salah Eddine Mraouni (Cartucho) and Dutchman Jeroen Breewel.
In the overall standings, German Nikodemus holler keeps the yellow jersey ahead of Mraouni and the Dutchman Adne Van Engelen.
Tuesday, Mraouni had removed stage 4 in 2h 28 ’39 before Holler between Limbe and Kumba (98 km).
Next stage, this Thursday, between Douala and Kribi long of 157 km.
